Mother passed away when Grrrr was 10 years old (she knew she was going to dieshe had bulimia and was poisoning herself. The day she passed away, they were staying in a motel and she told Grrrr to go out and play by the pool and not come back until she told him to
then he saw the ambulance and the stretcher. His last memory of her was her being wheeled out, already dead).
Didnt know where his father wasonly knew he was in New York.
Went into foster care while social services looked for his father
took a year to find him
Was then sent to live with his father and stepmother and new siblings on Long Island
Learned to steal and got himself in troublea lot.
Went to live with his grandparents in Puerto Rico
went to high school there
Back to New York after high school where he worked for a while until he got bored
Decided to take off for So. California where he lived for three years, grinding down his horns, as he puts it
Asked his father, whod taken all of the trust fund hed gotten from his mother, for some financial help. Father refused. Changed his name to his mothers maiden name.
Decided to attend university in Europe, where his mothers family lives
While at school, was approached by a girl and started dating her
Her family is an extremely wealthy family
They stayed together for 12 years
Had a baby girl, had a baby boy
One day, she came home from a business trip and freaked out somehow. I still dont know exactly what he means by that
all I know is that she left Grrrrrr and the kids
went away
for over a year. The kids were babies and he was the sole caretaker
She eventually came back, but revealed she was having an affair with their accountant
He moved out of the house, but not before she punched him in the face and broke his nose in a fit of rage. He moved to a small apartment, 2 blocks from their old house
He was very, very, very sad
especially during the gloomy, cold European winters
Came to the US on business last year and visited one of his half-brothers who lives close by (father lives close too, but still wont talk to Grrrr). Brother told him that he should think about moving back to the US.
Ex wanted to get back together, but he said no.
Moved back to the US in June.
Started online dating.
Met me in July.
