February. We are fast approaching the 6 month marker before the wedding. I was going to write about how freaked out I am because of the planning and getting everything done, but not really so. We are working through things fairly methodically, and I’m feeling quite comfortable.

AND…we are working through the other couple-y stuff too. I don’t know if that’s so methodical of us, but I guess it is. I feel more and more comfortable with the thought of having a husband. And the fact that we can each have our own idiosyncrasies and appreciate that from each other is good news and getting better.

Yesterday we ran 11 miles together. TFMS encouraged me the whole way. How cool is that?! I have never thought of myself as a runner, and here I am–running! With my fiance, who was a most excellent runner in high school (track…was voted “most athletic”). Not to say that means a lot now, but he’s still so super athletic without trying, and I have to bust MAJOR hump to get myself out there and continue to go to the gym on Saturday mornings and keeeeeeeeep this stuff up.

Anyway. He maintained my slow pace and we got through the whole thing in one piece, and I love him so much for hangin’ with me like that. I feel so much like we are encouraging each other to be better and stronger and blah, blah, blah. But it’s TRUE!

[Ask me this later in the heat of an argument and I’ll deny all of this–heh–not really, but you know what I mean, right?]

Met with our photographer on Friday night. TFMS got wine and two kinds of baked brie and bread and grapes and pears and we made a happy hour of it! So excited about the photography, because as it turns out, our guy is looking to start back into the wedding business and wants to use us to get some buzz going. So he’ll give us major discount (which is still an insane amount of $$$) and in return we will let him post our pusses on his website. Pretty good tradeoff, no?

AND, he’s excited about working with our florist/coordinator, who also happens to live in our building (keeping it all in the family, so to speak).

OK…so more later. I need to make coffee and get this day started! Sorry to end so abruptly.
