Good! Let’s talk weddings!!!!

[God, I am now the girl I used to loathe. How can this be?! What’s happened to me???]

Right.

Where I last left off with the wedding talk, I’d told you about this dress (which I will wear on my wedding day…in the wedding…to get married (MARRIED!! In three months. Yipes!!):

Oh, and here’s another view:

And I’m going to carry a bouquet of ivory/white calla lilies, something like this:

Or maybe wrapped like this (but in golden ribbon because my colors are ivory and gold):

So, here’s where I’d like your advice….last night I went shopping and splurged on these—they are Majorica pearls and I LOVE them:

A necklace:

A bracelet:

And earrings (although, the ones I bought are gold colored like the bracelet and the clasp part is gold, too):

Question: do you like the necklace, or should I go without? It almost seems like a little much, but I really DO love the necklace. Remember, I’m going to be wearing a veil (not over my head, just a simple comb with a small veil flowing in back), and I’ve decided to do my hear in a half updo like this:

What do you think? About all of it? The dress, flowers, jewelry, hair?

Oh, I bought shoes last night too, but I’m going to have to return them because I played with everything last night. I put the dress on with the jewelry and the shoes and played with the veil and EVERYTHING. But the shoes kept kinda slipping off my feet because they wrap around the heel instead of having the security of a buckle.

Yeah, and as I was playing dress-up, TFMS called (he was away on a business trip), and I told him I had alllllll of my garb on and he just laughed.

I cannot believe I’m getting so worked up about this! It reminds me of when I was a little girl and I used to get so excited about my going-back-to-school clothes because I wasn’t allowed to wear them until school started. I’d go to my room and close the door and put outfit after outfit on and model in front of my mirror. And I’d practice wearing my hair different ways and I’d accessorize in different ways. And I had such anticipation!

This is so much FUN!!!

Next entry: back to reality!
