PIC OF THE DAY!
Drat. I missed yesterday’s entry. So I’m backdating and posting it today. The prompt was NATURAL, and I’m dreaming about this kind of nature on this dreary, dreadfully rainy, foggy day (day 3 or 4 of this weather–yuck).
This photo looks gorgeous and relaxing, huh? It’s really strange what effect a little background perspective can give you.
This was taken on a business trip I took to Cancun. That’s right. A business trip! And what did I have to do on this business trip? I had to watch the kids partying at the beach and in the clubs at night. What a dreadful job. Awful!!
Yes, sarcasm…BUT…
I think back on this time and this trip in particular, and remember that I was really stressed out. I couldn’t even really enjoy it. I can’t quite remember why, but I vaguely remember being super crazed and buried in projects at work and even being a little afraid to tell my fiance at the time that I was even going to GO on this trip. Hmmmmm.
Anyway. I’d love to go back and really get to experience the true joy of the water and the calming effect of the waves.
