Im sorry. First of all, Im the worlds worst noter. I read almost daily. I adore everyone here. I just suck at noting right now. Please just know how much I love you and how much youre on my mind.
That said, Im going to keep gushing for a while. I want to shout it from the rooftops! I am in love with the coolest guy and he loves me too! So far, we have made these plans for the future:
And then it will be almost Summer! And well, SexyPants tells me that he wants to be together for a long, long time.
Last night, when I made it to SPs house, he was talking on the phone with his sister. When he got off the phone, he said that theyd been talking for a quite a while and that his sister had said that she likes me so much more than anyone hed ever datedor married!! ; ) While its funny, I also found it very sweet. I really adore his family as well. And yeah, they have their funny family dynamics as all families do. But you know, Im sure they were a little apprehensive of me, as SexyPants ex really didnt get along with themnor did she ever really try.
I have seen photos of her now. Sexys ex-wife (#2, the 20-year marriage) is strikingly beautiful. Shes 11 years older than he is, so that would make her 58 now. Im not sure exactly how old the pix were that I saw. Maybe 10 years? Regardless, seeing those pictures (at his moms place) was really weird. I mean, it was like looking at the most beautiful family. Picture after picture of this super-attractive couple with these cute, cute kids posing for their annual Christmas cards. They looked like the most perfect family.
But after further inquiries (I told SexyPants that the pix made me feel sad and a little uncomfortable), he told me that those photos were facades. While they were gorgeous photos, the stories behind each and every one of them were loaded with drama and unhappiness.
He stayed in a loveless marriage for a long, long time. In fact, they had troubles from the beginning and his story sounds eerily familiar to the beginnings of my story with EXMS. I mean, imagine if Id married EXMS. You dont know the half of it, so I can imagine itso high-drama, so tense, I was truly a mess.
I believe that SexyPants was probably a mess for many years (he told me he was), and finally he just said eff it and withdrew for years, living in a guest room and traveling all the time (and yes, in fact, having an affair with a woman in Japan).
Well, I didnt really mean to go off on that tangent, but I guess its been on my mind.
Today is sunny, gorgeous, beautiful day!! And if I were completely prepared for my BIG, BIG meeting on Monday, Id be feeling like everything is right with the world.
Instead, I have procrastinated and worked on other things and ugh. Will need to put in some time this weekend (yuk).
But. Im on my way to a wonderful weekend with my honey!
