PIC OF THE DAY!

Punk’n!

TODAY…

1. Weather is stunningly gorgeous.

2. Got 6 miles in fast-walking

3. Deeeelicious mimosas

4. Amazing message at church (must remember to write about)

5. Work talks resume tomorrow

OK. Resuming my practice for NoJoMo now. I don’t think this format looks great on the mobile site (I’ll have to check again), but it’s something I’ve saved from NoJoMos past, so I may use it or I may ditch it.

I’ve written two private entries in the past couple of days, and while I’m happy to have gotten them out in writing, I wish I could share. I am just not quite sure how I feel about them right now as they are predictions of what may come. If they are indeed true, I will share, but for now I will leave them there.

Nice weekend, for the most part… and now it’s the end of the weekend. SexyPants is taking his son back to the asylum (kind of a joke – we googled the name of the mental health hospital where he is staying right now, and in the 1890s when it was built it was originally named The [Town] Lunatic Asylum), and when SP gets back he and I are going to try to go to the State Fair as it is the last day. SP just sent me a text asking me to check the hours.

Friday evening, SP and I met my mom and dad at this amazing restaurant in the middle of nowhere. My parents knew about it because they had celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary dinner there, but it is WILD how this place out in the sticks is so wonderful. We had a great time and ended up sleeping at their house, which is also out in the country. Mom and I celebrated our birthdays (hers is today, mine on Friday) and bought each other basically the same thing (ceramic and glass pumpkins – we heart Halloween!). Anyway, really nice time.

Yesterday, SP and I got up and went to the hospital to pick up SOS. He was good during the drive and even OK during the party we attended last night at SP’s best friend’s house. SOS has a lot of trouble with impulses, so he was on the phone the whole time with his “girlfriend”. He couldn’t bring himself to get off the phone even when his dad asked and even when he was supposed to be eating dinner.

Ugh. Long story and SP is here to pick me up.

More later!

LOVE!!
