SOS has been with SP for the weekend and he stole his dad’s Apple ID.

I mentioned at lunch after a couple of mimosas (and while we were waiting for the valet to bring us our cars) that my credit card has been stolen (because it has) and SP mentioned that his card had been stolen in the past as well, but it turned out to be his son who’d stolen it.

I asked SOS if he knew that was illegal and he said yes. I said that if I caught the person who’d stolen my card number that I’d press charges.

He then asked what I’d do if HE (SOS) stole my number, and I said I’d press charges against HIM. Meaning, he’s no different and he is not above the law where I’m concerned. I don’t care if he IS family. SOS started to get riled up, but the cars showed up and SP told SOS to get in the car.

I feel kind of bad and guilty about even having to say it, but it is true. If SOS does anything to me that is out of line, I’m going to see to it that he knows that I will not put up with it. However, I’m sure that it hurt SP’s feelings.

Bottom line is…his dad may be willing to put up with it because he’s his dad and SOS has special needs, but when it comes to being violated and letting it slide because of these special needs, I call bullshit.

Thing is, SP keeps testing the waters to see if SOS can control his impulses, and he just can’t. It’s like putting a pie out to cool when there is a pie-stealing dog around. Even if you’d punished the dog before, you know that if you leave a pie out to cool on the window sill, if the dog is around he’s going to get that pie….the dog cannot control those impulses. He just can’t.

So I don’t understand why SP keeps leaving those pies out for his son to steal. Why? His son is NOT going to change in that respect. I just don’t see it.

If SP and I end up living together, I really want to get a house that has locks that SOS does not have access to. Is that too much to ask?

Private, of course.
