Oh, hello! Happy Saturday, November the tenth. Kinda screwed up NoJoMo yesterday, but hopefully I made up for it with my update this afternoon.
Today I’m cleaning and scrubbing. Ol’ Man Kitty is still having litter box issues, or should I say that he now thinks my living room rug is the litter box. Ugh. It’s so frustrating. That poor ol’ guy. I don’t know how to re-train him now that he’s 19 years old. I’ve switched his food and that’s still not doing the trick.
Anyway, everything is super clean right now. The frustrating part is that it takes 1 second to stink this place back up, even with all the deodorant cleaners and sprays, etc. I hope this gets better. I’m kind of at my wit’s end.
I’m leaving in a few to go to Ikea to get some floor mirrors for the living room. I think they are going to look splendid!! Something like this:
…okay, well I couldn’t find an image and have already gone, run a million other errands, ate dinner with SP and SOS and now am safely back at home. I’ve spent too long trying to find some dumb image, but I also did not buy the mirrors because (a) they won’t fit in any of the cars that SP and I have between us, and (b) the cost to ship is $59. I know I’m being cheap, but come on, it’s IKEA and for $59 I can rent a truck and get some more things out of my storage space (which I need to do) and kill several birds with one stone.
SOS being a sweet kid like he can be every so often, but this morning before SP picked him up he was freaking out about things. I thought that he might lose it and not be able to get his pass. He made that mistake last week, and SP had been planning on surprising SOS by taking him to a college football game, but then they would not let him out because obviously he shouldn’t be rewarded for acting out. I know SP was bummed, but again, he needs to learn.
Oh well. Tonight I’m happy to be tapping this out in bed with the Tan Man and hanging out in extremely relaxed style.
Tomorrow: long walk, church, brunch, thank you notes, whatever else.
Monday: Turbocharged begins!!!
