Annnnd, it’s Monday. I heard back from ONE of the people who interviewed me on Friday after I’d written thank you emails to all. The CFO – the guy I liked the best actually took a moment to write me back. Last night, even!

Recruiter Guy wants to talk this evening. I know he was contacting references and such on Friday, but I’m not sure who all he’s talked to yet. I’m exhausted from this process for some reason and I’m nervous. I know I’m capable, but I’m just…I don’t even know the word.

*breaking news*

Recruiter Guy talked to at least one of my references today. That means they are serious about an offer. Exec. VP Guy told me that they would not check references unless they were serious about extending an offer. This ball is rolling!

Reread my last entry and I realized that I was pretty tipsy when I wrote it. SP and I had mimosas at brunch! It was fun. Then I went home to do some things around the house. Wrote the entry and fell asleep right after!

Went out last night with SP and his friends as a kind of last hurrah before the Turbocharged diet. Today is Day 1. I’m hungry today. Basically, you take grains out of your diet. I LOVE grains, so I’m a little concerned. But tonight I will do a bunch of veggies including a big baked potato topped with salsa. That should do the trick! I feel like I’ve already lost 2 lbs based on how much CRAP I’ve been loading into my body just preparing to do this sucker.

Anyway, last night was a blast. We always, always have fun and last night was no exception. Talking and drinking and joking around. A cold front blew in and SP and I had a snuggly good time. I don’t want the snuggling to end. I just don’t.

OK. Need to get out of here so I can go to the grocery and make phone calls. Lots to do this evening.

Oh, and my Nike Fuelband ran out of juice today, so I barely have a blip on my Fuelpoints. Gotta RUN!!!

XXOOO!
