Had an OK week this week.
Sunday I took part in the quiz at the Union as usual. Unusually, my team (well, the two of us who were there) came joint third. I got:
A Kronenbourgh 1664 t-shirt (white, but never mind),
2 bottles of Grolsh (disgusting, but never mind),
a glow in the dark head band thingy (no longer in my posesion),
a packet of ‘fun snaps’ (paper bangers which you throw onto the ground) and
one of those polistyrene(sp?) planes that you slot together (Brit readers may remember these).
I also went to hustings for the part – time exec bi – elections. And my question got asked. What was it? ‘Should there be a Union debate on why there is only one female Smurf?’
Monday, didn’t do much. Watched ‘Auf Wiedersain(sp?) Pet’. The new series is set in Middlesbrough, and though some of it is very unrealsitic, it’s fun to sit and say “I know where that is!”
Tuesday, part – time bi – election. Three females to share the office with. Lucy, who has pink hair, Magz, who is a NIN fan and Kate, who is kinda cute.
Then went to a kareoke night. Yup, you guessed it, I did The Time Warp. Won a cocktail. Went for something non-alcoholic.
Yesterday, cut my hair, dyed it, went round to Helens so she could print out a picture of Clare Kramer for me, gave her my glow-in-the-dark thingy to say thanks. Went to the pub quiz as usual. Volunteered to do the quiz next week. (Do you think I should be evil about it?)
And today, I’m going to meet Clare Kramer. Who? This should remind you:
Then I’m going to the May Ball. Ticket was free, a friend is buying me drink so it’s all good.
