How is everybody? I’m fine.
Things are going well with Karen. I’ve met her folks, she’s met my mother. Her son chased my dog. It’s getting closer and closer to me going back down to Middlesbrough and I’m dreading it.
Yesterday we went to a car boot sale to sell some stuff we had kicking about. We were only selling stuff for about an hour and then we had to packed up as it started to piss down with rain. So we are thinking of going back next week to sell the stuff we did not manage to sell yesterday.
And tomorrow we are going to see The Guru. Hmmm. Heather Graham playing a porn star (again). This’ll be fun. And it’s free!
Karen has had a go at me for using too many long words when I’m speaking. Apparently it makes her feel stupid. So I’ve decided to cut it out. Which means that my entries may well get more verbose as this way of articulating my thoughts will need a way to manifest themselves. OD seems like the ideal forum for this to occur :¬p
Film news! Film news! Remember the report I linked to about Colin Farrell playing Batman and Jude Law playing Superman in the forthcoming Bats Vs Supes film? Well, Jude law has pulled out in an arguament over sequels. Jude wasn’t against the idea of appearing in further film, he just did not want to commit to them now. He wanted to sign up on a film by film basis depending on the quality of the script. Which I think is brave of him.
Apparently WB have approached Josh Hartnet instead. I’m not sure what to make of this. Josh Hartnet is a good actor, but Jude would have been perfect.
Ach well. Never mind.
