From ananova.com:
The Prime Minister has warned of the “moral choice” facing thousands of anti-war protesters expected to rally in London on Saturday.
He compared the democracy in Britain with the lack of freedom in Saddam Hussein’s Iraq.
Mr Blair also said the alternative to war was sanctions which has left thousands of Iraqis dying.
He was replying to Labour’s Phil Sawford during question time who said he would join the Hyde Park rally.
Mr Sawford asked: “Do you have a message for the people on that rally, bearing in mind that many of them are your friends, not your enemies.”
Mr Blair replied: “First of all that we should be glad that we live in a country, this country, not the case in Iraq, where people can come together and demonstrate their position on political issues of the day.”
Speaking about possible war he added: “The alternative is to carry on with a sanctions regime which, because of the way Saddam implements it, actually has resulted in thousands of people dying needlessly in Iraq every year.
“So I hope when people go on that march that they at least recognise that those of us that take a different view hold our views with as much conviction and sincerity as they hold theirs.”

But I have made a moral choice Mr. Blair.
I believe that the possibility of was on Iraq is not only unjustified, but morally wrong.
There is no hard evidence suggesting a link between al Qaida and Hussein.
But because of this ‘link’ Bush and Blair are willing to embark on a campaign which will no doubt cause more people to hate Britain and America, therefore making more terrorism.
I thought the idea was to stop international terrorism, not promote it and aid it’s growth.
The other excuse given: Hussein has weapons of mass destruction.
Again, no solid proof.
North Korea, on the other hand, are believed to be able to reach the west coast of America with their WMD’s.
Besides, even if Hussein has WMD’s, is it not hypocritical of Britain, who have WMD’s, and America, who not only have WMD’s but are the only country to use nuclear weapons in conflict, to say “No. You don’t get these.”?
That is why I have made a moral choice.
That is why I’ll be in London on Saturday for the demonstration.
