Two teenage girls in Minnesota mistakenly phoned a sheriff’s office looking to buy marijuana.
But even after officers identified themselves, the callers rang back soon after and again asked for drugs.
During the second call, a deputy – who called himself ‘Dupe’ on the phone – arranged for a meeting at a shop an hour later.
“Apparently, they didn’t know the meaning of ‘Dupe’ as in ‘duped’ either,” said Sheriff Terese Amazi said. “It’s incredible.”
The girls, ages 15 and 17, were arrested at the scene. Police said they found cash for the marijuana and drug paraphernalia on both girls. One was released to her parent and the other was turned over to a probation officer.
“Not only did they do something wrong, but they should have been in school,” Sherriff Amazi said.

I shall not comment. I shall not comment. I shall not laugh. I shall not call these two girls stupid. I shall not laugh at them.
You can though.
