Hello everybody peeps! in OD

Next year is looking like a very, very good year for me.

First of all, my pet obsession, The Hithikers Guide to the Galaxy is finally, FINALLY making it to the big screen.

The only thing I’m slightly worried about is the casting of Mos Def as Ford.

Then, the only thing that Warners has done thus far to fuck up Batman Begins is changing the title from Batman: Intimidation Game.

If they took the same route with Superman (talented director and writer left alone to sort out the cast) who knows? They may actually get that going as well.

The only cloud on the horizon for me is Christopher Ecclestones assertion that Dr. Who has two hearts to break. NNNNOOOOOO!!!!!! The Doctor does NOT fall in love. That was one of the problems with the Paul McGann version.

NIN, Something I Can Never Have: ‘Everywhere I look your all I see, Just a fading f**king reminder of who I used to be.’

Right. Now back to business.

Hello! Do you remember me?

Sorry I haven’t been here for a while. But things have been a little bit hectic.

So, what’s been happening in my life since I last talked to you lovely people?

Well, I have had to deal with a rather large hole in the roof of my flat. After over a month of waiting, the council are finally getting round to fix it.

On the day that they do so I have to vacate my flat between 8:45am and 4:30pm. So, which day did they pick? Try the only full weekday I have off college. Bloody typical.

I have also submitted a film for the Soho short film festival I’m hopefull that it’ll be entered but not counting on it.

(Typical of my luck. After stressing to get my entry finished and in on time, when I check I have the right address for the website I discover that the deadline for submission has been extended. Bloody typical.)

I’m away to Ireland next month for filming and will also shortly be directing my first fiction film (only a short, however).

I’m running out of things to say. Ho hum.

I’ve seen Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and it is fan-fucking-tastic. Hopefully the Academy will make up for it’s previous mstake of not nomonating Jim Carrey for The Truman Ahow and give him the nod he deserves for this one. But why, for fucks sake, are the UK distributers trying to stop the film over here by claiming that it is a comedy? It does have funny moments but it is NOT a comedy.

Anyhoo, must dash.

Will
