Long time, no write. Sorry, been a bit busy.
It was going to be easier to write entries, cos I actually bought myself a laptop and got it on broadband. Then some fucker kicked in my front door. And pinched it.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, no longer have puter. Also, currently in househunting mode.
College is going well. Done my Kubrick thing and it looks damned good. Have since been asked to film something for the police. Yay!
Funny college related thing. For one project I have to make a 3 minute film about myself. So, decided to film myself singing The Time Warp at kareoke. The next day, I took the tape in to watch it and see how it turned out. I was in the studio set dressing and one of the filk in my group had to go up to the classroom to speak to the lecturer. He came back and said that everyone was asking to see the footage. I, semi jokingly, said that if they got a camera upstairs, i would let them.
About 5 minutes later, my lecturer comes rushing into the studio, camera in hand, asking for the tape as no – one was leaving to do their work untill they saw it. So I went upstairs and watched it with them, which was a bit freaky.
Incidentally, I’m looking for a quote about identity to start the whole thing off with. Something along the lines of the quote in the Firefly episode War Stories about living with someone and volcanoes. Anyone help?
Work has become a complete nightmare. I’ve been moved to a different tech support department which has nowhere near the amout of agents it actually needs. So we’re getting hammered on the phones. Barely enough time to breathe between calls. This, of course, means that customers are having to wait ages to get their problem dealt with.
And guess who they get pissed off with about THAT one?
This department is so bad that people have actually quit when told their getting moved to it.
The only reason I’m staying is because I’ve already got my Christmas holidays booked and won’t be guaranteed the same thing if I get a job somewhere else.
Although, considering they have suddenly decided to call me into work on Christmas Eve and Hogmany, when I’ll be in Aberdeen…
Oooh, found a thing here which tells you what your name means. So, of course, I did it.

Honest, dependable and practical you tend to have a fairly conservative but determined approach to life. Your intelligence and wisdom means that you are sought out for guidance and advice. Gifted in communication you are philosophical and intuitive and are usually a traveller both mentally and physically. People respect you for your patience, discretion and integrity.
Quite spot on, actually.
Forbes
Man of prosperity, or owner of fields : Irish
Very much the individual you have enormous energy and vision and must find a suitable use for your talents. You have great potential for success in business if you can guard against indecision and worry. Your generous nature means that you are never short of friends and with cooperation your relationships can be very rewarding. Perseverance and firm decision making will ensure you achieve your objectives.
Again, pretty much me. Except I’m fairly sure that Forbes is a Scottish surname.

Yup. That’s me.

Agree except for the self-confident bit.
On a final note, am in a bit of a mixed up mood just now. Heard some bad news about someone yesterday. And, no, I’m not going to share it here.
