I should be doing coursework! So, of course, I’m very much not.
Not much has been going on in my life since my last update. But still. Beats working on my personal evaluation.

Anyhoo. Got in touch with NTL last week, they phoned me today. They’re sending an engineer round to my new house on Tuesday. So I’ll have a landline, cable TV (thank Bob) and broadband once again. Yayness!
At least that phone call went better than the ones with my insurance company. First of all, I called them yesterday to let them know about my change of address. Guess what? Because I now live in student shared accomodation, they have to cancel my policy. GRRR!
Then they phoned today about my claim from when the flat was broken into. They said, recieved the manual for my DVD player and TV, contacted their supplier about replacing them. Sent list of DVD’s and CD’s to another supplier. Now all I need to do is send them the instruction manuals for the laptop and the camcorder.
Yes. That would be the same instruction manuals I’ve already sent you, wouldn’t it?
So, blokey, in a display of stunningly breathtaking display of (lack of) intellegence, says “So, you won’t be able to send them?”
Erm, tell you what, as has been said you’ve aleady got them. But I’ll ask my friend Mr R. Weasley to magic them back to me so that I can resend them. No, I fucking well won’t be able to send them you fucking thick as shit wanker.
Then he goes to the mail room. And finds them.

Was editing on tuesday and today, got one of my college assignments done. So that’s ready to go in. (No, it’s not that one I’m supposed to be working on just now.) It looks pretty damned good if i do say so myself. Even if I did fuck up the blue screen bit. The great thing about this assignment is that, due to the nature of it, I got to seriously play about on Premiere. Even if I could often be heard to lament ‘why don’t they just get Final Cut Pro?’
As for everything else, life is fine. Not seen much of cute Kaylee lokkylike second year (I fucked up before when I said she was in third year) but did flirt outrageously with a friend from kareoke last night.
Actually, I don’t know what’s going on with me at the moment. I’m incredibly relaxed and chilled out. I dunno if it’s cos the course is going well, or because I’m now out of the house from hell, or what. I’m not complaining but it is a bit scary. Things just seem to be going my way at the moment.
And, i’m gonna leave it at that.
