Dry Eyes And A Little High in Life And Times

I can't seem to escape these especially busy days at work.  I'm not complaining but these long days can be very taxing.  As I write this, my eyes have once again dried out.  Typically, during my long and busy workdays, my eyes tend to dry out at the end of the day, leading into the evening.  I have thin corneas.  I may have mentioned that before in a previous entry.  Those thin corneas are the result of two corrective eye surgeries.  I may have to do some eye drops, but I sure as hell will stay away from nocturnal eye gel.  Actually, I don't have any available.  The last tube of eye gel I had turned out to be expired and I've since tossed that stuff out.  That expired eye gel did me absolutely no favors as far as making my eyes feel better.  If anything, my eyes would be red for many hours after I had gotten up the following morning, after the last time I used that expired eye gel.  Enough about my eyes though...

It would appear that the all-female management team at work finally picked up on the marijuana scent that is plaguing the men's room.  I don't know how they figured it out, unless someone said something to management about it.  I didn't say a word.  As I've said before, the scent doesn't seem to have permeated the entire men's room.  From what I've experienced, that weed scent is only noticeable from the door of the men's room.  Management is on it now apparently.  I haven't seen this myself, but from what I've heard, members of the management team have been casually walking around the office, in an effort to somehow track down where the scent of marijuana could be coming from.  I haven't smelled this office weed anywhere other than the doorway of the men's room, but management apparently is on a mission.

Yesterday afternoon, management sent out an office-wide e-mail letting people know that the department can request that any employee submit to an on-demand drug screen if the department has reasonable suspicion that an employee is working under the influence of any substance or chemical, illicit or otherwise.  If you're asking me, I'm convinced that the weed-toting culprit is someone with security.  I'm not saying that I can't be wrong.  I figure that any one of my coworkers could be smoking weed in or around the building, because the people I work with are that dumb.  Still, I'm thinking that security just might be dumber than my coworkers to think that they can get away with smoking weed in the damn building.

I don't smoke marijuana and I have no interest in doing so.  People are fucking dumb, especially to think that they can smoke weed in or near the office and not be caught.  It's only a matter of time really before they're found out.  Maybe.  I don't know.  I don't care that much.  It's not my job to find out who's doing it anyway.

That's all I have for now.  My eyes are dry.  Someone is believed to be using marijuana at work.

People remain stupid.  Don't know if that can be helped.
