My mom took the day off of work today so that we could go to WV to visit Fenton Glass we went there her me and my sister about 15 years ago soo it's been awhile and I wanted to go back b/c when I was that young I really didn't appricate what it was we were seeing.We go there and looked around for a bit and then took the tour which is awesome it's just neat to think every piece of glass in the gift shop is hand made someone took the time and made everything out there it's neat to see them work.It's very hot in there though I don't know how anyone could stand to be in there more than an hour....Men have thick skin i guess...but then we saw the artists that paint on the glass by hand and that was awesome I love to paint but I couldn't do the same pattern hour after hour.Then my mom and I looked around at everything I wanted one of everything ....what I really wanted was the same bell I got there when I was 4 it was the only thing i really liked and it remined of me when we were little and of course my dad had to break it some time ago it made me really upset they still had the same pattern there the color was a little off but I love it all the same it remindes me of the one I lost....It'll have a place in my heart as cheezy as that sounds to have a certain feeling for a material object but that was probably one of the things I really loved and wanted to have around for ever,but besides that I got a few other things there.It was sorta a bummer that my sister couldn't be there with us but she works all hrs of her life so she couldn't go but it was fun to spend the day with my mom I think we needed a little bit of us time again I haven't been able to spend too much time with her recentlly so I think this helped out a bit.I'll have to get pictures up of what I got it's really neat I'll have to ask Kris how to get em' up on here if anyone knows how let me know here's my e-mail [email protected]. Anyways from there we went back to Ohio to Dover to visit Warther's also another place we went on our trip together 15 years ago so it was neat to really hear the story of Ernest "Mooney" Warther.My mom loves the place b/c his wife collected buttons and had a whole little house outside where they were put into patterns and shapes she has over 100,000 of them my mom loves to collect buttons and it was amazing to hear about Warther himself he seemed like an extrodinary person.ANyone who is looking for somewhere to go when you have free time go to Dover,Ohio to visit the Warther museum. Look it up on the web he's an awesome person Warthers.com.....but that was pretty much it for my day I'm really tired it was fun though and kewl thing is it's only Saturday tomorrow so that gets me some more time to spend with my mom we will probably go to auctions of garage sales or something like that she really likes to do that kinda stuff lol welp tty more later c-ya
