Took him to the Vet and he has arthritis in hind legs so she gave him a pain and anti imflam injection and it kicked in almost immediately. He is so much better this morning. I have to give the pain med orally every day from now on with his evening meal. I am so grateful. Adorable A came with me, because although i wear hearing aids I still tend to mishear stuff. Anyhow we got it all sorted out with him. It cost three hundred and worth every penny. He had a blood test as well and I will get the results of that sometime today.
I had lunch with Beth and Joss yesterday, and although it is lovely to catch up with them both I am glad that is only now and then. Lovely ladies and our friendship goes back 30 odd years. They are both very well churched so we are not on the same page anymore. I still have my faith and even attend a Bible study on Fridays. But I no longer have anything to do with church, So I just try and keep the conversation as light as possible and make them laugh.
I dont mean to be mean but whatever I say, there seems to be query of if am I speaking the truth especially from Joss, who is always correcting Beth, with stupid stuff, like names of streets, and comments like ’ but you said such and such last time” , and buts in with dates etc. I honestly dont know how she stores it all up. But not to complain I had a nice time with them, but glad it will be a few weeks before we get together again.
I am off to the surgeon today to see how this leg of mine is doing. I think she will see some improvement. Adorable A who dresses it every couple of days tells it is healing . It right at the back of my knee, so I can really see it and quite frankly I dont want to.
Well better have some breakfast to start morning. Making smoothie, one plum. apricot, nectarine and few strawberries. That should get me going.
Maybe take my gorgeous boy for a little walk. Have a great day
