So, we’re Mormon now. I don’t feel like a lot changed on Sunday when we were baptized because we were already feeling pretty Mormon before we made it official. I am looking forward to going to church next week and being real members and not just visitors. I sat down and talked with the bishop on Sunday and he encouraged me to start keeping a journal, and I was happy to be able to tell him that I already do. He suggested that I occasionally write about my relationship with my heavenly father, and I’m going to start doing that in a different book.
We’re having Thanksgiving with my father, which is the usual tradition. Unless the weather is to bad to drive out there, but I don’t think it will be. Then on Friday, we’re going car shopping. Right now we have three kids in car seats, which doesn’t work in our small car, so we’re going to use wedding gift money to buy something bigger.
