Topic: What clothes bring you the greatest comfort? How do you thank them?
A: This is such a random question to journal about for gratitude lol However after giving it some thought the clothes that always brought me the greatest comfort were never mine. Thinking back to the last time I had clothes bring me the greatest comfort was when my other half was away from me serving time, I wore his clothes and felt closer to him. I always feel closer to him when I wear his clothes. Maybe it's because it has that person smell and energy infused in there. Maybe that's why we cling to "boyfriend hoodies" or passed relatives clothes that we turn into keepsake things we can use in our daily lives like blankets and pillows to keep the energy they gave to your life around you in yours even when they are no longer there.
I'm not sure how I thank them though. I take care of them. Wear them with care and when I cant wear them anymore, Ill use them for pieces in something I can. That's how I thank them.
