How do you say "Thank You" without using those exact words? in Attitude of Gratitude

I personally like to say thank you with something like a gift that is personal sometimes. Like maybe a handmade card, or a painting of something that person enjoys. 

A smile. A hug. A laugh.

Depends really what I am saying thank you for and who to. Theres no limits on how to say thank you to someone I just like to keep it personal to them and creative however I do that.
