She has always been a people pleaser her entire life. She is not the kind of person who gives second chances - she is the kind of person who gives a thousand more chances and still gets hurt. She never knew how to say "NO." She never knew how to prioritize herself, and honestly, that is a worse habit than smoking or drinking. She can forgive the whole world when it comes to mistakes.

But finally, she is in that stage of her life - exhausted, too tired to forgive anyone anymore. She has finally learned the art of letting go: "Let them talk whatever they want," "Let them misunderstand," and most importantly, to finally let herself be her priority. This time, she chose herself.

When her best friend betrayed her, she was broken. When her close friend David, whom she had stood by in all his critical moments, abandoned her in loneliness out of selfishness, she was broken again. And there are many more like them. But this time, she is done with everybody. She has never been stronger than she is today.

Her friend "D..." begged for her forgiveness and for one last chance, but this time, she was strong enough not to fall for it. She chose peace. She finally understood the art of detachment. For once, she needed this peace in her life. She didn’t fight with him or explain how deeply she was hurt. Instead, she gave him closure in the most gentle way possible.

And yet, even after mastering the art of letting go, she could never let go of her love for him. People used to tell her that time heals everything - but if that’s true, why hasn’t she moved on even after two years? The truth is, when it comes to him, she never feels exhausted or tired. She can love him endlessly, forever and ever.

Her love for him is immortal🥀.
