I heard from my friend Joe. He says he’s finally settling into his retired life. I think I know what he means. But I would like to hear it from him. Does it mean that he does not care about the news? Does it mean he is never going to buy a little house in the desert and get all that stuff out of storage? Is his world getting smaller and more routine? Is he ok with that?
Probably. If I know Joe. Probably, if I know retirement. I know I am.
And I also heard from Joanne. She has some money for me. Since I retired, I’ve been sending all of my old clients her way. I really like her. I wish I had of met her a decade ago. So she pops up last night and tells me that two of my referrals have bought new houses. We agree on a 20% referral fee (because they were so much work.) Bonus.
