It looks like my neighbour Mary has a new puppy. She is leash training it in front of her house across the street. That makes me feel a little sad and envious. I really would like to have a dog. I have lots of time to train a new dog and walk it. It would spend all of its time with me (because I have all the time in the world.)
But sadly, it is not the time for me to have a dog. We (unofficially) have our completion date for the new condo (5 weeks hence.) And that means we leave for the big drive in 4 weeks. And that will kick off the plan. Four weeks to the pivot and a tangent in a different direction.
Finally, after a year of waiting, of delays and other changes, the countdown begins.
