Babbling brooks in The dotted line

I've long heard about the benefits of journaling, and know I could have benefited greatly from practicing such a habit, but better late than never.

I've created a few, here.. multiple private ones for daily check-in, exploring thoughts and articulating my patchwork ideas and this scary public one help me practice talking out loud 🥺.

I think my brain works in reverse - when I am in safe surroundings and need to concentrate it babbles away noisily, at speed, sometimes joyfully, more often fretting or fighting with itself! Then when the pressure hits and life gets serious, it goes very quiet, focused, moves in slow motion and lets me think.

To allow me to think during the rest of the time, I just need to get the babble and fret down in writing so that other thoughts can have room!
