I decided to take the office job. I have spent the last 20 years on a salary and 45-60 hours a week at a job where I was responsible for the running of the restaurant 100%…never a real day off. I deserve to live a slower life. I am going to be working in Ft Worth so I found a RV park closer to FW but still in the country. I will not be in the city and I am thankful for that. I will move by the end of the month- she already ran my background check and of course it was clear.
I am taking this job mainly because I do not want to miss anything when it comes to my niece and it being her senior year. I want weekends with her and I will have that. It’s slightly closer to their home from where I will be moving. It is currently 2.5 hours to drive there and now it will be 2 hours even.
I am going this weekend to see my niece and my sister. I will go back on the19th because it’s her 18th bday and she is having a zoo party on the 20th. She has volunteered at the zoo for many years and they are gifting her the room for her bday and allowing everyone to get in the zoo for free. The room can hold 40 people and yesterday she told me that she has invited 37. I am so excited to celebrate her!
