When I see someone running a yellow light I always think to myself someday that guy is going to pay, someday he won’t be so lucky. It might be the 100th time he runs a light; it might be the 10,000th. It might be during a winter storm. It might be when he is old and feeble. But one day his luck will run out.
It is the same thing for those parking in handicap spaces, or cutting in line, or cheating on tests or taxes or their spouses, one day their luck is going to run out.
And you get what you give. If you are a negative asshole or a scammer or self-centred psychopath or a cheater, people aren’t going to want to spend time around you. Same thing if you are a braggart, or a pathetic loser, a manipulator, a control freak or any other strong personality type. What goes around comes around. Mellow out. Look inside yourself. Just once, think of others.
