I have a timeline for returning to work. I am on unemployment and have only been for a couple weeks. It pays my bills. I need to work tho or I rot in this camper. It’s been relaxing though. Here are my options:
1) restaurant management. 50-55 hours a week. $. It will likely be Thursday thru Monday. No weekends off. I would stay in my current park and drive about 40 minutes to work.
2) Office job. Less money but livable. Monday thru Friday- no weekends or holidays. I would need to move next Tuesday closer to the area. I have a place and a mover lined up.
The Restaurant job is mine if I want it. I have a GREAT phone interview today for the office job. I have experience in their systems so I’m confident. My BFF also works here and she has my back. I told them both I can start on the 8th.
I want the office job. I like my scheduled time off. I have become so close to my sister and her family and I don’t want to lose that. Also-I would be a little closer to Abilene and also closer to a potential guy friend…..Alx.
Alx is from my hometown and my age. We have known each other our whole lives. He was married for 26 yrs. He is now divorced and lives outside DFW. We have been catching up the past month. It’s nice to talk to him.
So yeah….just a waiting game. I’m praying for the office job. I want to move next Tuesday. My bday is the 1st on Monday. =)
