So. I want to preface this by saying I abhor CCGs like magic the gathering, pokemon etc, and while its a cost thing its more of a "I hate building decks, and I fret over deck-building for hours and I hate deconstructing decks kind of thing) Why do I say this because number three is a CCG simulator game and its beautiful. Its called Millennium Blades:

This is one of a few games id save if my house was burning, because I legit have everything for this game, including promo packs that cannot be reproduced due to listening issues. So what makes this game fun is its a combo building game, tableau builder, set collection and trading game all in one, under the guise of a CCG like magic. There are two phases of the game, the market phase where you buy cards (From two gigantic stacks of cards, ones a core deck and one is a deck of cards of various "Rarities", and those are all puns or parodies of things (There is a Game of thrones, a firefly, a legend of zelda parodies and many many many many more), you also can sell cards to an aftermarket, buy cards from said aftermarket, you are also making sets for points based off a card type or element and star value. While you're doing this you are preparing 8-10 cards 1-2 "Deckboxes" and 2-4 "accessories" to play in the tournament which is a simple tableau building game where you play 6 cards one at a time, and they combo and chain off each other, to get "Rank points" and whomever has the most "Rank points" at the end of the tournament gets real points.
There is legit nothing like this game out there. Ive played this game close to 30 times since I got it in 2017 (its a bear to carry especially with the version I have, plus it is a 2 to 2 and a half hour game, and setup and teardown sucks, or else id play it more gladly) and to say ive scratched the surface is an understatement. I've only played with special character powers a few times, special cards, locations that change the game, cooperative, solo mode. Plus it has the coolest paper money:
Its literal stacks of money (Assembling it sucked by its 10 bills stickered together, so each "1 dollar" is a literal 10 stack of 1s. Its very unique, and while paper money is kind of meh, this is an exception to the rule.
So. Thats millennium blades. Its great. And strange, worth checking out, especially if you like CCGs.
Keelah Se'lai.
