Top 10 Board games number 4: Tapestry. in Random top 5 to 10 lists

This game is a Doozy. Its Tapestry.

This is a civilization sauced game where you're moving up on 5 tracks, and doing wild and crazy things, and I say sauced because in theory you could be in space before you invent currency, or archery. They are just tracks. That being said this game is wild. The rule set is simple as fork. Do an income turn (when you dont have resources to move a track )  or move up a track,  get the stuff from the track and go hog wild. Its a simple formula but it works because you get tapestry cards which are BONKOS, and your civilization does fun things. There have been 3 expansions and a upgrade pack for civilizations to rebalance them. The expansions make the game go from pretty good to awesome. There is one small issue, there are these super awesome buildings that  are like 3x2 shaped but the molds aren't exact, so sometimes 3x2 looks like 3x3 or something. Its small but thats the biggest issue. That being said, this game is super awesome. So many goofy combos abound in it for such a simple ruleset.
