idk why sometimes I stop writing for long periods but I’m back it’s all good. I’ll try to keep it brief if I can (probably not).
Jessica started her first job as a pharmacist! I’ve been so proud of her, getting out of bed early every day and getting there on time. It’s almost like we’re real adults! lol
I went ahead and bought the CPAP. I got a CAT scan for a urinary issue I’ve been having and that scan blew my deductible out of the water, so there really wasn’t much reason not to try it at that point.
Some people act like it’s an immediate difference in their life and others tell you it takes time. I think I fell into that second category, because at first I hated it. But the mask they gave me originally was like a full face mask that went over the top of my nose and it was so painful and made my nose feel raw. I had this other mask that goes under the nose instead of over it (got it from the sleep study) and it was better, but it leaked like crazy because of my beard which dried out all of the water from the humidifier and caused horrible dry mouth. So finally last night I got a nasal mask and a chin strap to keep my mouth closed. Muuuuch better, the seal stayed all night and I had plenty of water in the morning.
And I will say, the primary difference I’ve noticed is that I’m waking up every day between 5-7am and don’t even feel like I need a nap during the day. That’s pretty unusual for me. I feel way more productive that usual. Big fan of that.
I’m not gonna write any more right now, we’ll do more later.
