Today's prompt is to talk about all the different roles we play in our lives.
I'll start with the one I'm probably the most proud of. I am a fundraiser and cancer warrior. For over three years I have joined in the fight against cancer with the ACS and other not for profits. I have also fundraised for the Luekemia and Lymphoma Society, Cascade Aids Project, ALS and MS research and Alzheimer's awareness. I feel the best tool we have is to educate ourselves and others and to help when and where we can. I have raised thousands of dollars, given plenty of my own money and even more of my time to causes I believe in. I donate to help the local homeless community and try to give especially during the winter and holiday months. Aside from that I am a full time employee and head of household. I am a wife and cook to my ever patient husband. I'm a daughter and very recently a step daughter. I am a sister with a burdened heart who only wishes she could help the little brother that somehow got lost in a world of drug abuse and mental health problems. I am a friend, steadfast and reliable, caring, giving and loving to a fault to the handful of true friends I am blessed to know. I am a kitty mama to two sweet fur babies that are ridiculously spoiled.
Lasty, I guess I am a dreamer. I spend almost every day planning and dreaming and working towards making all my dreams reality, and even when I stumble or a challenge is thrown my way, I continue to dream with my whole heart.
