I was having problems staring my Bravada and my battery light was lighting up and problems steering the vehicle. My husband and I assumed it was the alternator and decided to try to drive it to my mom's to switch vehicles come to find out the intake manifold gasket and fan belt needs replaced. It boiled over we had to get it towed. I talked to my friend Brian from Advance Auto I have to take my car back to Mac Auto but they said the manifold repair is guaranteed with the 3 year warranty for the engine I purchased less than a year ago. Thank God for the warranty. One mechanic is fixing our fan belt. Mac Auto doing repairs on my motor. This warranty will save us over $1000 thank God Brian talked me into it.
We decided to fix the Dodge Dream. It was overheating easily as well but we kept temperature down by running the heater. My husband was frustrated he thought he fixed it to discover the sealant wasn't dry enough for the gasket leaked antifreeze all over the place. He replaced the thermostat tried again. He tried to call for help and was so frustrated he cried. We called Kristen and she sent her husband to us. Jason helped us fix the thermostat and helped us find a better seal. He taught us how to fix it. We tested the heater and my 1994 is running so much better now. It's the best it has ever run since I bought it a years ago.When I first bought it I even replaced the transmission on my Dream. It isn't pretty but it's handy. Love that car. I appreciate Jason helping us get a discount to do repairs to the car.
Later today after the mechanic fixes the fan belt my husband and I are towing the Bravada to Mac Auto. After the Bravada is fixed it will become one of our doordashing vehicles. We both Doordash to survive.
My husband and I rarely get to do anything except Doordash. Tomorrow my husband and I are going to take a homesteading class. I hope it will help we can use this skills to make mom's house a farm. She has some property and we could grow our own food.
I have to go to Kroger pick up my glucose tester. They think I have prenatal diabetes. I hope this is temporary.
