What a surprise. My book series I like is the favorite video game series I like. Basically these are three books, following a  Scientist/Teacher named Kahlee Sanders. The first book is a prequel book revolving around the baddie of ME1 Saren and Commander shepards mentor Captain Anderson. It does a good job setting up the backstory of Saren, and even the first arrival of the reapers.

The second book Ascension takes places after ME1, and it revolves around a "Father" of a biotically charged Autistic girl who has real strong powers, I say "Father" because the girl was basically dropped off when she was a baby and hes addicted to basically space cocaine. Its a good book because there are some good twists and turns, some good action points, the main bad guy is a Quarian Psychopath murderer. Sanders and a couple others are forced to spend a few weeks with the Quarians in their fleet with an ultimate showdown on a Quarian ship, and I love the quarians so its a fun read.

The final book Retribution follows the "Father" figure Grayson, his capture by cerberus and his transformation to a reaper like creature, while being chased by 3 different groups of people for 3 different reasons. Its probably the darkest of the three, there is the most violence in it but its not over the top and for the most part all plot points. But it ends with Graysons ultimate death, and its deserved.

All 3 books are good. All 3 books are quick reads/listens (8 hour  audiobooks) But good depth and lore dives into the mass effect universe. Ascension is my favorite because Quarians.

Anyways. Thats about it for me. I have a couple honorable mentions tomorrow.

Keelah Se'lai.
