Not Good in Boston's Thoughts

I'm sorry for not posting here. It's been a long while since my first entry. So let me give you an update.

A few weeks ago, we had a significant wind event which blew down my carport. It was scary event and created a real mess. It took many days for the property management to remove the car port which was resting on my driveway - it got done eventually.

A week ago this past Friday, we had a rain event which resulted in water dripping down into my mobile home in five different places. I had to use wastebaskets to catch the water. In one of the wastebaskets, I collected about three inches of water! I called the property manager to let them know, but it wasn't until  last Monday that someone from the maintenance department came to assess the situation. After looking at the problem, he said that the sealant they put on the roof eight or nine months ago had  cracks in it and that he would have to replace the roof and ceiling. I told him that there was no way that I could move while they did the work. He said that maybe the property management could accommodate me. This has caused me to be a bit stressed.

It's now been one week since the maintenance worker was here and I haven't heard a thing from property management. I don't have the money to move out while they replace the roof and ceiling. - none! I'm hoping that there will be another solution.

A friend told me that they should just seal over the cracks. Why can't this be done? Why dildn't the maintenance guy suggest resealing the areas of concern. Whatever the case, nothing has been dont thus far.

There is a good chance for rain beginning on Thursday and continuing into next week. I'll have to put out the wastebaskets so I can catch the water dripping through my ceiling again.

My lease is expiring on December 10, 2025. I want to sign a new lease. I have no money to move. Besides, trying to find a place I can afford just doesn't seem possilbe - I've checked online. l'm worried that management won't let me sign a new lease. I'd be in big trouble if they don't.

That's what's going on in my life right now.
