The weather forecast indicates that it will be heating up. Today's high is expected to reach 100 degrees where I live. By Monday it could reach 106. Of course, it gets much hotter during the summer months. I have found that the last two weeks of June and the first two in July are the hottest, but one never knows if that will be the case this year. Last summer was the hottest summer on record for Phoenix. With climate change, one can only expect that it's only going to get worse. I read somewhere that by the end of the century. 130 degrees will not be uncommon. I'm glad that I'll be gone by then.
Today, I plan to watch more episodes of "Person of Interest", "Star Gate SG-1", and "Lost".
I really need to take time to practice my acoustic guitar and Fender Fretless Jazz Bass". I haven't practiced in a long while.
Larry and Sue will be leaving for Kansas on Monday. They are my closest friends. This means that I'll need to take UBER to get to my CT Scan on Monday morning. I hope they're back so that Larry can drive me to my pulmonologist appointment on June 17th. I am blessed because Larry takes me to appointments, CVS, and other places I need to go. I offer to pay him for gas but he refuses.
Sue also treats me to Subway and Larry brings me food that Sue prepares for me. This really helps. Later this morning, I plan to enjoy a garden salad Sue prepared for me.
I won't write about our government other than to say that it's a mess in so many ways.
That's all I have for now. It's going to be a good day. I don't have to go out in the heat and I can enjoy watching TV in my air conditioned mobile home.
