So last weekend was my high school reunion. I was excited about it but also really apprehensive. Like I mentioned in my last entry, high school was awkward and pretty much sucked for me. But I guess I wanted to go to “prove something.” Despite my reservations, I had an awesome time! It was so much fun. Not that many people showed up, but my best friend from 5th- 9th grade Holly came and some other people I’ve known since 3rd grade whom I haven’t seen since I was 14-15 (aka the height of my awkward teenage years). I also got to see a guy I grew up with, Eric. We were in every class together up until 10th grade. I remember his mom saying we were going to get married O_o. Anyways, it was so nice seeing him. Well, up until his wife got mad that he asked for a pic of us together so he could send it to his mom. She was pissed. I didn’t know her, but we got along really well and spent most of the night talking. So I was surprised she overreacted, but she was drunk, and I guess I’d feel the same. I don’t know.
Anyways, I didn’t take any pics. I literally did not touch my cell phone all night. It was just non stop fun and talking, there was no need for the awkward everyone is looking at their phone because they’re bored thing. But I took some pics from FB that other people posted.
First, let’s show you a pic that really encompasses my teenage years:

This is me and all my awkward glory. Fat, braces, Sun-in dye job. Just horrid. This was taken in 9th or 10th grade. This is what they all remembered me as. I moved away at the end of 10th grade and hadn’t seen most of them since.

Two of these guys were in my 3rd grade class! And the others Ive known since 6th grade.

And this is some lovely throwback action with me and my old best friend Holly. We just started talking like maybe 6 months ago. (i think I mentioned it on here. It was a pretty weird encounter when we met up a few months ago).
And this guy was a total dork in high school. He was like two feet tall and carried his bible everywhere trying to convert people.

So that’s pretty much it. I’m sad it’ll be another 10 years before I see some of these people again. One cool thing that happened was the chick who organized the whole event, she was a popular cheerleader and I thought she was a snob. She was the nicest person and turns out she was just as lost as I was in high school and she said she was envious of ME. Hah! Kinda crazy.
Other than that, not much going on. Just very busy with life. Nothing to complain about, which is a welcomed change!
