While I was in Asia, a friend of the family had a baby. A boy. Cute baby.
I’ve known her parents since Taichung days and our children grew up together.
I was the MC at her wedding a couple of years ago. We are pretty close.
Karen was the first to get married, the first to buy a house and now the first to have a baby. She said something funny about the kid - She said, “He looks so Asian.”
That kills me.
Karen is half Taiwanese and her husband is fully Laotian, of course the baby is going to look Asian. Of course, they are both fully Canadian too. And this is where the fun begins
