Rachel and I went shopping yesterday together, which is often the times when we bond the most. There was a certain brand of jeans she was searching for, and I wanted to get a few new dresses for church. I only have a small amount of clothing that seemed dressy yet modest enough to wear to church so I am trying to expand that part of my wardrobe.
She didn’t find her jeans, but in the end we both ended up with two new dresses. And since we wear the same size, I kind of see that as me getting four new dresses. I also got some new underwear, since until recently I hadn’t been wearing any.
There’s been so much progress with my bladder control, but it’s still not perfect. And after a few embarrassing experiences I have started wearing Poise pads to handle the occasional leakage. Much better than diapers.
Jayson and I are getting baptized on Sunday, and I’m really looking forward to it. After two months of attending, I’m ready to be officially part of the church. This week I was filling out a survey that asked about my religious affiliation, and it felt good to say that I am mormon.
