Real quick in Everyday Things

After four months, my baby and I will be back together next month :-). She’s going to come here the day after Christmas; she won’t go back until early January. We’ll get to spend about a week together during the New Years. As excited as we are, it is sort of bittersweet because our mutual friend, Ana, doesn’t feel well to join us. Ana’s health has really affected her lately, and winter has always been tough on her as well. She told me she won’t be able to hangout with us again until the summer.

Work is going well. We’re getting towards the start of peak season that should begin the day after Thanksgiving. My boss is currently looking to hire additional help for his team of drivers.

Speaking of which, my boss’s wife dealt with a personal tragedy around Halloween. Her brother was killed in a head-on collision by a wrong-way drunk driver. Her brother was in his early 20’s when he died.

I’m going to head to bed now. Three a.m. comes by pretty quickly ;-)
