Improved comment navigation in Site Updates

My suggestion box entries were getting so many comments that I was starting to find it really difficult to find comments to reply to. Usually you can scroll to the bottom, but what if someone replies to some comment in the middle?
Suddenly, it's the needle in the proverbial poo pile. I mean haystack.
So that seemed like a pretty easy problem to solve - just add comment anchors and link to those. So now when you click the link, it should scroll to the appropriate comment.
Also, a lot of people were not really noticing the entry link above comments on My Comments that takes them to the appropriate entry to reply. I decided to link both the user's icon and name to the entry where they commented as well (with the named anchor so it scrolls to the right place on the page).
What will be more awesome will be the capability to reply directly from your My Comments page... but that's a task for another day. :)

Speaking of comment navigation, I can't find a commen from earlier that didn't sit well with me. Someone suggested doing a reddit up/down vote and I beg of you no, no no, no no no. I have never been on reddit but I don't want some tween deciding whether or not what I write is up to their standards. I'm sure the majority of us are OD transfers and don't want our lives voted on.
That's been bugging me all day!

If I look at some kind of voting system, it would be positive and not negative. Maybe upvoting for categories like "Interesting", "Inspiring", "Funny", what-have-you. I could also look at some sort of opt-out thing if I did go that route, so you could choose (kind of like saying, "I don't want to be nominated for Reader's Choice" kind of thing).

That sounds much better. I admit I dont know much about reddit but having a positive twist is something I think is a good idea. And thank you for responding!

Also, that would only be on public entries (if I go that route). Doesn't make sense to do it on anything with restricted access.
