five years ago today, at 4:23am, my grandmother passed away. she entered a nursing home in april at the recommendation of her doctor to rehab a bruised hip; she died october 18th, 2009 from a second bout of pneumonia. i remember waking up at that exact time for no reason and going right back to sleep. at 9am my dad came into my room to tell me she was gone.
i miss her every single day.
