it’s always interesting when your boss gives you the hard sell to remain at your current job.
so i didn’t get the administrator job i applied for. it went to someone else who had been with the unit longer. that’s sort of how it is. seniority=advancement.
but we were talking about other administrator openings and he basically shit talked the other units. plus, our unit may be splitting up and i said that i would quit before i went to the other unit. his response was that he would to if i went to the other unit.
his main objective seems to be keeping me with the unit. seems like he has a plan for me in the long run. always nice to be appreciated.
