Funny stuff. in The days in the life

All this baseball season my Baltimore Oriole loving co-worker poured it on me. Well, guess what/ I haven’t said anything because I mean after all my team has won in three times in ten seasons. I’ve decided what I am going to do tomorrow. I am going to get a copy of the paper and make a copy of the orioles score and put that on his desk next to the three back pages from the boston globe that I just printed out from my sox doing it and say. this is what my team looks like when they go through the playoffs....

I found something out pretty cool yesterday. as far as things to do this winter. They have a steam train ride that goes through the mountains and on the way back they stop at a ski resort where you get to go on a snowmobile ride for two hours. and you get a goodie bag. The goodie bag gas hot cocoa in it, yum..... That’s $228 per person. I am definitely doing that. The Stanley hotel is $169 a night. I may just do a bed and breakfast over a weekend this winter.

It may be that I do it alone. Delia, has passed her physical and she’s gotten her new job. I still have mine, albeit with no complaints. We have inventory coming up next month and I am already preparing for it. I started in earnest today at work. Tomorrow. is a truck day. So, depending on how much there is on the truck. I may be able to get a little more done towards the pre inventory work. but definitely I will be at it on Friday. I should be done with that whole aisle that I am working on.

I’m still set on going to Missouri next year, unless I get a job offer like the one I had last week. If that happens, then it changes things. I would then have to make a decision, do I stay here and go through that programme at school and get through it all the way and graduate? That would be the wisest move for me, if that were the decision to be made in the circumstances.

If it stays this way, then nothing is lost. For my entertainment, I will go to the theater (watching plays here), and just save my money. There’s no reason why I shouldn’t have something in the ballpark that I have in my mind as far as money to be at my disposal. I have to use my credit card wisely, and I have. I am going to pay it off next Friday, 24 October. Get the car up and running, and get a second job along the way. Then when 01 May comes, I will go. I have some work to do between now and then. Namely, getting my ducks in a row with employment. However, my resume is strong. I get offers all the time in my email but they are lowballed as far as the earnings are concerned.

However, I found out yesterday that my Cousin is a Supervisor at Home Depot in New York. I am wondering if I can get hired on in Missouri. Perhaps, if I research the store that is nearest to where I want to move to and I can get the store managers name and contact info, perhaps she can pull some strings and I can get hired on there. I could also transfer from my company here, but I would have to work in St Louis. From where I want to go to there is a one hour drive each way. I mean it I had to I would.

Yet, I am praying to The Lord and leaving it in His hands, because He is the only one that can make it work to His glory. So where I’m at right now is not really filled with problems, but it is exciting to see how it is all going to work on. I suppose that when the dust is settled and everything has been decided to His glory, that there will be woman and a daughter at the end of it.

I am ready for whatever is required of me.
Cheers,
Cbj
