Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians! We are going to Mike’s Grandmother’s tomorrow and having turkey for lunch. Yum! Nothing like turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and peas with a roll. My parents are having our family Thanksgiving next weekend so we’re going up for the weekend and my immediate family will be there. We’re all taking the kids to a pumpkin patch as well too which I am looking forward to. We’re also taking Cody to one in our area tomorrow. It’s supposed to be lots of fun for the kids with hay and train rides, a bouncy castle, a corn maze, fun with straw and fall treats. I hope Cody loves it!
I am feeling really fat today for some reason. Bleh. I am going to start eating better right away and then count calories again after we get back from my parents’ place in a week since it’s really hard to count calories while we’re there. Next weekend is the last time we will see my parents for 2 months since they go to Florida from mid October to mid December so I am going to challenge myself to lose a fair amount of weight in those 2 months. I haven’t weighed myself in a while but I have a feeling I am like 175lbs so I will weigh myself on October 20th (a week tomorrow) and see. I am going to make it a goal to get down to 160 lbs by Christmas. It’s so hard to exercise these days though. I am always with the kids unless they are in bed and 4 nights a week I go to work right after they go to bed. I will have to 100% exercise the 3 nights I am off and 2 other days I will go for a walk with the kids or something.
I think I am going to have a short nap before the kids wake up from their naps. Cody was up wandering around the house before 6am this morning....
