keep your colours in a reflection

nothing more warm than sitting in this midnight air, with that gorgeous glowing moon above. and you understand. that sometimes, no words speaks louder than words
and how the only way to 'see' tonight is to have our eyes closed, listening to the night. and knowing, this is one of those moments that you know will bring a smile to your face another day
and how we'll paint this night forever. in words, in colour, in the way others pull in tight to us. wanting what they have no words for, but what they feel in our presence
we are streams, feeding the earth below. trees stand guard on our banks, ever vigilant. we are warm. we are safe here.
keep your colours. running in fields, and those colours follow, staining our bare feet. a summer's night that is no friend to daylight. let's run past the morning, and back to night again
here with you, next to you always
