Novio left for Denver this morning and I’ll be heading to Denver tomorrow morning. I’m excited for a mini-vacation, but I know I’ll be exhausted once I get back to work.
Last night my company held a party that was supposed to have 300-400 attendees, but only 110 people came. It wasn’t a huge fail, but it was definitely not the most organized event. But how could it, when we have one person acting as the entire Events team? Overall it was worth me staying later. I got paid overtime, got to chat with my colleagues, hung out with some of the members, and got to eat delicious pizza and drink spicy wine.
Although exhausted and in need of sleep, I’m excited to be going to Denver tomorrow. I want some adventure. But I’m also enjoying this night by myself.
Everything works out in the end.
