My boys are both still sick :( They’re both coughing quite often and Miles has the non stop runny nose thing going on. I’m not minding this cold too much though because Mike and I both caught it too but we were over it in a few days. So yay for us being better anyways! Lol. Hopefully the kids will be better by next week sometime so I can take them somewhere fun like a playcentre. I don’t really want to take them right now and infect all the other kids.
I do also have good news though! Miles took his first steps 2 days ago!! It was so adorable and continues to be so when he will hold onto the end table in our family room and then slowly walk towards me with his hands in the air. The cutest part the first night he did it was when he turned away from me and decided he wanted to walk towards Cody instead. And Cody wasn’t even paying attention to him at the time lol. Now he does though. He loves getting Miles to walk to each of us. He gives him a huge hug and they both smile and laugh :) Oh the cuteness! Miles is taking his first steps at the same age Cody did too. 13.5 months! Hooray!
I am continuing to do well with my Jamberry business. My first Facebook party was successful and my second one is also doing well and it just started. As well as commission, I earned hostess rewards from my first party and I ended up getting 8 sets of nail wraps for less than the price of one! That’s awesome! I don’t need 8 though so I am going to try to sell probably 6 of those when they arrive. I also traded half sheets of the sets I did have so I have some really cute designs on their way to me. If anyone on here wants me to throw a Facebook party for them where they are the hostess just let me know. You barely have to do anything and you win free Jamberry nail sheets of your choice. We don’t even have to be Facebook friends yet. Or if you want to browse the catalogue here it is: www.sarahgartley.jamberrynails.net
My MIL just went to Las Vegas with friends and came back with gifts for all of us. She spends way too much money on us though. She bought the 4 of us two t-shirts each. That’s 8 t-shirts! And they weren’t cheap either. The two I saw were $25 each. $200 just on t-shirts for us. Crazy! She said she had an awesome time but that a week is kind of too long to spend in Vegas. She’s weird too and wakes up at 4am every morning. She says she can’t help it. She said it felt like forever waiting to have breakfast with her friends at 9am lol. I bet! They checked out a lot of the casinos, saw Criss Angel, went to the Hoover Dam and to some other show with a guy and a tiger. Sounded fun! Now my parents are in Cuba this week because they randomly found a last minute deal they couldn’t say no to. Cayo coco or something like that. Jealous over here! Lol.
Mike and I are going to go on a date night this weekend hopefully. I came up with the idea randomly today and he said he’d call his mom and see. We have a gift card for the movie theater so why not.
After slacking and eating anything I wanted lately, I am back to counting calories and exercising as of today. I didn’t go too crazy with the sweets and junk though. It’s weird, but I desire them less when I can have them whenever I want. I did find this popcorn called Skinny pop popcorn at Costco though which is delicious and only like 35 calories per cup. I’m going to have to go buy some more of it soon.
I drink a lot of tea in the fall and winter and sadly, the electric kettle we got 4 years ago as a wedding gift died. Someone in town on a buy and sell group offered to sell me a spare one she has for $3 so I’m picking that up today. Anyways, Miles is up, gotta go!
