Do you guys ever sort of “write” entries in your head throughout the day? I was doing that on my hour long drive to work tonight :)
I have been spending a lot of my free time lately reading up and taking notes on Jamberry since I am a new Consultant. There is definitely a lot to know! And I like to have it all organized in a booklet so I can refer back to it instead of having to look things up 24/7. I am in the midst of a Jamberry facebook party which is going fairly well. And I’ve given out a lot of samples lately so hopefully something comes of that. This is only my first month as a consultant so I’m making a goal to make $200 this month and then higher amounts each successive month. This is a totally do-able goal. I am amazed at how many people love this product! I get compliments on my nails all of the time and I think they’re gorgeous and can barely stop looking at them lol. I have been ordering business cards, labels and instruction sheets lately and today I sent out 8 samples in the mail with 4 more to deliver in mail boxes around town tomorrow. I love the consultant box I got for signing up. It’s huge! It cost me $150 and has the regular things like order forms, catalogues, flyers and that kind of thing. But it also came with 4 sheets of the nail wraps, several nail scissors, nail files, cuticle oil, orange sticks and the best part which is a nail heater which is so convenient :)
We spent the weekend at my parents’ place and my mom was very excited for me to put some Jamberry nails on her. I taught her as well as put some of the nail wraps on her but she got the hang of it easily. On Saturday one of my aunts said she’d buy one of the nail sets I already had if I would help her put them on her toes so I did lol. It was a color that is blue that fades into purple and is super cute. Another aunt at the party placed an order online the next day and my sister-in-law sat in the bathroom with me putting Jamberry nails on my 5 year old niece while I helped my aunt. All the women in my family were really interested and loving the wraps. I showed them how to put one on and they agreed it’s really easy, especially when they last up to two weeks compared to nail polish which can chip really quickly. I’m just going to keep putting a bit of time here and there into this business and hopefully I will be one of dozens of success stories I’ve heard about Jamberry consultants who were able to pay off a significant amount of debt simply because they chose to try to sell this product. Like I mentionned before, my sponsor (the woman who signed me up) is a busy mom with four boys and she now makes around $1500-$2000 a month selling Jamberry in her spare time. She’s only been with the business for about 5 months too! Why couldn’t that be me too? I’m willing to put in the work!
So anyways....we had a blast at my parents’ place as usual. My mom and I made desserts for Saturday’s party at my brothers on Friday night after the boys were tucked into bed. She made a Quinoa chocolate cake and I made an apple crisp. It was weird though, we took my apple crisp out of the oven and it was only about an inch high lol. I don’t know if I used the wrong apples or what! So many recipes we found online called for 4 cups of apples in the recipe so I decided to use one that called for 10 cups of apples and I made the apple crisp again. Apple crisp part 2 looked perfect and tasted amazing. Who doesn’t love apple crisp in the fall? Oh and my moms Quinoa chocolate cake was pretty wonderful too. You’d never guess it was somewhat healthy for you!
The weather is all over the place these days. I always end up opening the front door and stepping out in my jammies before I get dressed and dress the kids lol. Their fall clothes are cute but I was kind of hoping for some more summery weather. Boo :( I will make the best of it though and look forward to the crunch of fallen leaves while we go for walks and many, many crisp, locally picked apples. I should make the kids some homemade apple sauce or try a new apple recipe I haven’t tried before!
